This piece was created from March to May 2004. Its dimensions are 4 feet wide by 3 feet tall. It weighs about 50 pounds. The base for this Chandelier is an Iron Chandelier that was wired for electricity. The bones added to the chandelier are Whitehall Deer skulls and vertebrae, and Dog skulls, vertebrae and ribs. I also added various dried mosses to give it a more natural look.
It took 55 hours of work to "bone it up." Even though it took many hours to construct this piece, I had a wonderful time making it and I would make another.
It is not for sale. This was a commissioned piece; it is now in the private art collection of Shane Bugbee.
