
Q: What got you into making stuff with bones?
A: I have always been fascinated with anatomy and I was able to collect skulls and bones. I had gathered so many that I needed to do something with them, so I started to create sculptures.
Q: How long does it take to make a sculpture?
A: It depends on the size of the sculpture. It can take weeks or even months to make one.
Q: Are the bones real?
A: I try to use real bones when its possible. I sometimes use plastic ones due to economical conditions.
Q: Where do you get the bones?
A: I have a friend who has a farm. He collects dead farm animals and roadkill, puts them in the back of his property and lets them decompose. When the decomposition process is completed, he will call me and I will go and collect them.
Q: Does your house smell bad from dead rotting things?
A: It depends on how hot it gets.
Q: What sculpture you have made that you like the best?
A: I enjoy all of my sculptures. There is a part of me in every one.

Q: Besides bones what else do you use in making a sculpture?
A: I use dried plants, preserved insects, discarded metal and other objects.

A: Feel free to ask, I don't mind helping one venture into a fascinating world.
Q: Who inspires you?
A: Better yet, what inspires me. I am inspired by music, movies, books, and other art.
Q: Do you ever worry that your art could have a negative effect on certain individuals?
A: No. If certain individuals allow influence of art or entertainment to manipulate their lives in a negative way, then they have a problem and should seek therapy. They should enjoy the art for what it is and not let it effect their psyche.
