Necrosculptures

This piece was created in February of 2008. It's dimensions are 3' X 4' tall. It is created out of a coyote skeleton, custom raven's wings, rusted nails, a defiled "holy bible",rotted wood, dried plant material, and liquid latex. I wanted to create something very blasphemous for the intended owner. So I took a coyote skeleton coated with liquid latex to resemble rotted flesh, added raven's wings, crucified it to a cross of old rotted wood. Then, I hammered rusted nails into its skull and then took a defiled "holy bible" and used it as the corpses' entrails. To complete the sculpture, I added red and cream colored dried plants to the back of the sculpture to enhance the overall appearance.
